Altino Santos has a degree in Pure Mathematics from the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Porto (1996). He obtained a Master's degree in Applied Mathematics at the same university (1998) and a PhD degree in Mathematics (geometry / topology) at the University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro (2006). He is a professor in the Mathematics Department at the University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro and develops research in the area of Combinatorial Geometry and Topology, being the author and co-author of more than 30 scientific articles in Geometry/Topology.
