The Open Day of CMAT was held at UTAD, Vila Real, on October 1. Due to the pandemic situation, the event took place in a hybrid format, with about 50 participants  attending in person while others participated online. Following the idea of the previous editions, the purpose of this initiative was to bring together members of CMAT from UM and UTAD, as well as CMAT’s PhD and MSc students, providing an opportunity for them to present their scientific activity and discuss their areas of expertise. The meeting also represented an appropriate occasion to foster research collaborations between members.
